It was a great time on Saturday. We met a random Yaker who came down from Sacramento. He managed to take the picture for us (thanks Tom!). We had lot's of fun on the "Red Sled" that day. We caught and also lost some very good fish. You heard it before...We fought the fish for what seemed like an eternity all in 10 minutes....and then 'at the net', we learned a very important lesson ..."head first, then swoop into the boat!" My Daughter now knows to not stop while netting a fish that is way too large for the net....and the most important lesson..."we're gonna need a bigger...net!" So, I'm going to have to buy a new one for next time. Does anyone have any recommendations? (The lake wouldn't let me use the gaff!!)

Go with a colapsable net so you can keep it with you where you can use the gaff and still be legal. And something with small holes to do the least damage to released fish.
