Heading to Costa Rica

I am leaving on Wednesday for Costa Rica to kayak fish the southern Oso Peninsula. We will be shooting a couple episodes of The Kayak Fishing Show. Have any of you ever fished down there? Any tips or suggestions on go to lures?
We are staying at Encanta La Vida Rainforest lodge. Check it out, it looks amazing.

No suggestions, but if ya need someone to carry your gear for ya, maybe test the waters before you start fishing, etc ... I can be ready anytime

Never fished CR from kayak but what an awesome place. I liked Drakes Bay,Tamarindo,Quepos and Golfito. Sailfish are off the hook. Teased them with spreaders and threw back ballyhoo on circles. Roosters are great too. From a kayak I would use krocks, rapalas and troll those ballyhoo. Have fun.

Yeah lots of good inshore stuff there and we plan on spending plenty of time chasing the sails. I have a bunch of new Sebile magic swimmers and Wax Wings ready to go. And plenty of hooks for the Ballyhoo too. Heading out tomorrow morning and back on the 5th. Will post a report when I get home.
