Beautiful pictures.
Wait just one darned second. That bastard didn't get that fish out of the reserve, did he? That's going to upset the whole balance of nature. Fish populations are crashing worldwide. Mother Ocean is being raped and plundered by consumptive users like that osprey. Well, at least that's what that kooky old hag in the blue T-shirt told me.

Really!? You're posting somebody else's fish? Haven't we been through this already? Now we'll probably have thousands of birds out there screwing it up for us.

Wow! Dave!
those are so cool. I'm gonna take one and make a big colored glossy for the house. Just haven't decided which one... Excellent fishing pics. Thanks |

Those are difficult shots to capture - the bird flying by. I see you were using ISO 160 - if you crank it up a bit, to 400, your shutter can be faster and freeze the shot better - clearer pic possibly.
Nicely done. thanks for sharing. |

Thanks for the tip, I'm very interested in learning how to use a DSLR better. I've had the camera for a week and only using the "auto" mode so far. I've been a point and shoot guy, this is my first camera that won't fit in my pocket.

Try P mode, which allows you to set the shutter speed.

Great shots. I love birds of prey and ones that eat macks are the best.
