LJ boat launch closed?? - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Was down there on Friday. Noticed there was about a foot drop from the end of the road down to the sand and caution tape preventing any traffic onto the beach. One option is to unload at the lot and cart it down.

If anyone gets down there the next few days keep us posted. The webcam doesn't show that part.

i saw some kayakers on the beach on the webcam this morning. they looked like rental kayaks so i guess the launch is still usable?

Went out today. Everyday there seems to be the rentals out as was the case today. The drop was not as bad today as there was a 3 foot sand path level to the road. Around that was about a 1-2 foot drop. I carted my yak to the beach as usual. Rental yaks dropped the yaks off and pulled them under the tape as well.
