Batteries

This is the best deal I found so far. Or does anyone have some spare used ones they'd like to part with? I'm in Long Beach, so it would have to be kinda local.

Thanks.

Haven't tried one yet, as I still have not burned up my NIMH 10ah but can't beat the size and weight per amp hour.

Try industrial liquidators, you can get them for $10. They are recycled but they will test them for you to make sure they are good. Most have never been drained.

In OC there is a place in Westminster called JK Electronics, They discount the sealed batteries in half, when they reach the sell by date, and yes there is a "sell by date" on all the batteries.

The batteries work just fine and I have never had one go bad you can pick them up from 10 -15 dollars, depending on what you choose, Supplies are random on the discounted ones and they sell fast.
They have a great stock of new ones, $20 and up,

A great place for your electronic on the water needs if you have the vision and ideas.

Have bought a LOT at JK in Westminster. Great prices and they know their stuff. Bought a lot for rewiring my boat, esp marine grade butt splices and other wire fittings & adhesive shrink tube

I was very lucky to get a bunch of various batteries for $20 from a guy I met on a job doing fire alarms. He gave me 2 12V 12ah(heavy but go 2 all day trips for bait tank and FF) 2 7 ah (my standby's) and a 4 ah which I have never used but would be good for just the ff I guess. All were used but tested good.He had some various others from 18ah to 50ah but unless you were going to be in the Newport Christmas parade, these would be just to darn huge.

I have two spares

Power Patrol SLA1088 12V, 9HR
Power Patrol SLA1035 12v, 3.3AH

They are both used but you're welcome to which ever one you want. I'm off the 605 and Alondra across the street from Cerritos College.

Hey Erick, As long as you have this one fully charged I ran two trips on this for my FF and it still had juice. (On our last trip I took an uncharged batt by accident)
