God that was hilarious !!! I had a woman once that loved me for my passion for fishing .Then after 8 years told me I was certifiably insane when it came to fishing .Those were her last words to me .Then she drove back and forth over my 9 rods and reels as she left .I replaced them all with the money I saved not having her in my life . Upgraded all my gear .Thanks for giving me a reason for NEW equipment honey ,don't miss ya a bit . Now I have a woman who says " You should go fishing honey ,you need it .LOL

Yeah, we're talking about a jaw dropper ,I just stood there in disbelief ,and it seemed like slow motion .Then she was gone .I would have preferred her just leaving on her broom .

Whats a Van Staal???

I had to look this up. Common Sense said it must be some high end gadget.

They look to Purdy to be used in saltwater! Looks like it should go on a Fast Italian car, Or one of those show Harley Davidsons, etc!

Thanks again Wade for the laugh!!!

VS reels were designed to be dunked in saltwater, dropped in the sand etc without any ill effects. There are some videos of dudes "cleaning" them by dunking them in the surf.

The crazy east coast guys that swim through the ocean in the middle of the night to fish from the slippery rocks use them.
