Jim, that's awesome!
Thanks to you and Matt and your families. We all appreciate your hard work. Thanks to sponsors and thanks to everyone who supported the event this year. Big congrats to the winners! Slow fishing for me but great times, as always! Got to catch up with the old gang, got to meet some new folks. Good times

Great tourney again
Congrats to the 5 that caught a fish worth weighing , and to Billy V for having the balls to actually weigh a bait fish at a Big Fish tourney As usual, I struck out, but I did let let the ADD get the best of me mid day and I played with itsy bitsies on the sabiki for a while. My only 3 pics for the day Nothing a little band-aid wont fix Tiny Twins New Species for me I think- Blue Rockfish? Good to see everyone again |

WTG to all the winners, all the participants and all the staff of this event. There was a small mountain of prizes for the raffle and they sold out the tickets. Thanks for the great deal on my new ride too . The whole shindig went off without a hitch except for the lackluster effort by the fish.

Nice job on the tourney to the entire Moyer and Sammons families and all of the other volunteers! This was my first tourney due to the fact that I never could imagine trying to launch with 135+ yaks on the beach but believe it or not it was not bad. Pretty cool to see everyone launching at the same time in semi-light conditions. Like most, went home smelly from the skunk but the good food, raffle items and good company at the park made up for it.
Cheers to all who attended...it is on my calendar for next year. -Steve |

I was a little bummed not catching anything but bait all day, but after getting to the park and seeing Dylan and listening to his father tell his son's story, none of it seemed to really matter anymore. It really put it all into perspective as to why all of us were really there. God bless to him and his family, and thanks to Jim, Matt, and the Moyer family and friends for another great tournament!

Actually, I lifted him out of the water with my rod and then dropped him in the Hobie livewell. That way I could cruise back in all stealth like I was calling it in early for the day.

Wade, you crack me up. Kimchi is the secret to fishing success. I really don't know any Korean's that can't fish and they all eat the stuff. I'm only half-Korean and it shows in my sub-par fishing prowess. It must have something to do with the pungent odor and its ability to mask human scents.
