cat kayak

We'd all like to be able to stand in our kayak.....other than the obvious problem with the high hull and wind and not very fast, what do you guys think?

@MalibuJohnny

I use a cockpit cover when I go in the surf.

Stay dry!

stand??? never wanted that but there are some days I'd like to be able to lay down and take a nap. I think this thing needs about one more foot on the beam and about two feet on the keel. might be a bear to paddle but at that size why not drop in pedals?

Funny you mention taking a nap
check out this Youtube movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HB7QyrLuf2M
There's something in it about taking a nap and stretching - hilarious!

BTW, it's a great yak to paddle - best tracker ever, easy to paddle in strong wind, and amazing in the surf, but that's another story.
What do you mean by "that size"? It's 11 ft and something, and 28" wide - pretty small yak, weighs only 59 lbs
