They were there. Must admit they are not very obvious - just south of the visitor center at the end of Clairemont DRive.

thanks Rik!! for a newcomer it was great. gives me an idea of what i like in kayaks and what i dont. i stopped by oex at santa claira after we left you and tried a few more (butt was already wet, what the hell, right??) another good experience, good people.
i have to say the ocean kayaks are great. and the torques... well it just makes me lazy!! very cool. thanks again i enjoyed!!!

so far i like the ocean kayaks the most, stable and fast. got spoiled with the 13 footer

Yup - thanks Rik and Mark. That was fun trying out the different units. What a cool way to get people interested and hooked. Can't wait to get one and do a little with it. Pull in a to take home to the family and finally get some and .

After that short time on the water I had so much energy - it was great.

Thanks Mark for the lesson on getting on one - made it very easy.

Kayak Demo

Couldn't prove it by me, I went through every lot north and south. The only thing close was a Trident 15 standing upward on the back of a van, which I dismissed because there was no OEX sign or anyone around. I Finally got back on 5 at Sea World Drive. I hope the others I told about the Demo weren't equally disappointed.

If you had parked where the upright Trident was standing, then walk southwest from that kayak, you would have seen them. There was a flag flying with the OK logo on it not far from them. Sorry you missed it.

thanks guys

those of us who did find you greatly appreciated the chance to try out a boat or two, thanks for your effort. it was actually pretty useful to get out with a bit of wind to see how the kayak handles as much wind as i'm likely to go out in. thanks again.

Old Rookie, Judging by your new avatar I'm guessing there's a Trident with your name on it somewhere.........

Thanks for the demo Rick.

It was a good day to test a kayak with wind and some small chop.
The trident 15 paddles nice.

BTW that was the most paddling I have done in my life
I wasn't sure how to work that arm peddle black stick you handed me after boarding the kayak.
