Hey Billy V, when I told Clay you were bringing London Broil, his eyes lit up and a grin came to his face...he wants to make sure you have enough and that they're bloody...

Count me in w/beer and/or food

Had hoped to be out of town w/a new job, but delayed thanks to CA DOJ unable to pull their heads out and run my prints after 4 weeks - but they have time to keep us from fishing.

If time allows I will try to bring two growlers of Pizza Port/Lost Abbey beers - if they will pour during their beer release this weekend. PAL & MJ, let me know what extreme beer style you like, I have access to some limited release beers from Abbey in place of $ if you wish (i.e. - Bourbon aged Santa's Little Helper, Brandy Barreled Belgian Brown, Oaked Flemish Sour w/Cherries - let me know.)

If Sherm has an oven I can borrow for an hour and I can make it to my meat hook up in O.C. tomorrow, I can bring some Beef Wellington. Prosciutto wrapped Fillet Mignon - that's a minimum $30 a plate at any good restaurant. I will aim for 15 servings.

Thanks for the good work to all in the MLPA fight.

Ok, you lured me out of hiding. I've been trying to keep what little dignity I have and ignore this thread. You guys are awesome, nothing less than the best. This is helping a lot - I can't really tell you how much, but I'll try tomorrow night.

Thanks to Tman for setting this up, to Sherm for opening his home, and to everyone else for this MLPA recovery session.

Can't wait to get my grub on! The menu is unreal. Greenscales, how could I say no to Brandy Barreled Belgian Brown? See you all tomorrow.

Paul

I have enough for him, and maybe Matt.

-Since he likes it so much I decided to upgrade the meat. It will now be 7 lbs. of Tri-tip with my special marinate. I am going to need a bouncer to standby in order to cook this properly.

Got the lad back in martial arts, he can be your bodyguard...

Nice front round kick with the *snap*

Just don't turn your back on the grill with him around...

Cmon Paul. We can never thank you enough.

Jasmin is in too. Two of us are brining some Bosnian finger food for all to taste. Jasmin's wife makes 'em as authentic and as tasty as they get!

...2 cases of Stella, and a $$ donation

and sure thing - if we snag some lamb tomorrow, we'll bring that too.

I don't know about jammin'. Only Josh and I expressed interest so far. Dave E. may be able to make it, depending on other obligations. If he makes it we'cool for jammin.... If there's only two of us, not worth it. I'm not brining drums, amp, all that heavy chit... too much!!

Scott, the shack looks great!

What a blast...I am stuffed...great food tons of it, great people, lots of and more importantly, Paul actually showed up...

Big thanks to Sherm and Mrs. Sherm (Scott and Norma), excellent hosts and a beauty of a place to have a fiesta. Unfortunately, fishing was terrible as the koi kept breaking lines...they are that huge.

Big thanks to all who made it, and the grub that was brought...

And Paul, thanks for all of your hard work

Awesome shindig last night guys. A lot of fun. I'll post up some pics of the party tomorrow morning. Great to see all of you outside an MLPA meeting. Thanks again Paul for all you did for the kayak community. It would have been a lot worse if not for your efforts.

GO CHARGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was quite a Fiesta last night. I enjoyed seeing some old friends and making new ones, nothing like putting faces to names. You guys really know how to make a lot of great yummy food. Many thanks to Paul for all his hard work, to Sherm for hosting and everyone for the great eats.
I hope the Chargers get some home runs .

Not only are kayak anglers the finest people I have the pleasure to know, they cook up a storm. This even outdid a Baytubers spread (sorry Kiyo ). Then again, we were celebrating our collective successes - survival at La Jolla and Dana Pt.

Firey habanero wings, Ballast Point soaked brats, killer tacos, delicious homemade guacamole and potato salad, and incredible Beef Wellington. Squid salad too, Yani style, and Jasmin's and Adi's appetizers. I've never eaten so well.

Thanks for all the beers, one huge bottle of gin, your appreciation and support, and your generosity. Times are tough right now, so it means even more. I promise to put it to good use.
