4/13 LJ mid day run....

Did a quick run from work today. 11:30-2. Bummed a slightly used mac at the can from Tman and dragged him all around for nada....the leftover morning crew reported no fish caught.....maybe this evening bite will keep rocking. Textbook San Diego weather with light winds and some serious spring break talent back on land

Made great bait in front of the Mushroom house. 4 drops for a quick bakers dozen. Went to N.W. corner and dragged and drifted one high and low for zippo. Had one small spot of Yellows pop up under birds in 85' outside horseshoe but sunk out before I could get a cast off. That was the only sign I saw all morning. Water way off color almost brown in spots.
Lots of rental yaks clogging the beach at 13:00. Congrats to all who scored this week. Kelvin

switched back to a circle hook!

She was very heavy. Measured 53.5 on a beach digital. My digtal at
home only goes to 50#. She weighed, 52, then 42, then 27 on my scale.
Since it's not my personal best... she's a just a fat girl.

Todd told me last night that you hooked one....Your having a very good year Art. I think your trip to fish ratio is the best out of anyone...Congrats!

I'm suprised that no one has asked me over for dinner I'm sure I could teach you guys a thing or two in the kitchen

Congrats...my back is feeling better! I will be out there soon, I hope I don't miss the bite.
