Calling All OEX Fishing Crew & Friends!!!!

Allright Guys, I know the importance of the MLPA process!! I need your help!!!!!.

The Steve Moyer Memorial Tournament Benefits Cancer Research which is just as important as keeping our fishing spots open. My Dad passed away 6 years ago with Brain Cancer. Cancer has hit home with many of us.

I have already secured some great sponsor prizes but I am reaching out to all of you to call in some favors and help a brother out. This tournament is dear to me, my family and the Sammon's family. We put a lot of hard work into it. Brent and his wife stepped in to help us last year and helped make our event a great success. Please call me or e-mail me if there is something you can do to help. Thank you so very much

Matt Moyer

It would also be a huge help to us if you can sign up as soon as possible so that we can plan the number of shirts needed as well as the meals.

You can pay your entry and get the entry form here.

Thanks for the help.

The Moyer is the most meaningful and longest kayak fishing tournament going, and my personal favorite event of the year. To me, it embodies everything good about our sport. I'm always there for you Matt.

Western Outdoor News will toss at least a half dozen subscriptions onto the prize pile.

The KFACA will also run a single heaviest C&R calico add-on contest (known as bycatch to the trophy hunters - one man's trash is another man's treasure). Please give me 60 seconds or so to bring people up to date on where the MLPA is at the time.

Let me know what more I can do. Cancer is a horrible scourge that touches nearly every family. Let's battle it the best way we know how.

I can donate a pair of custom painted Vans for the tourney if that'll help. Here's a pair I did last year.

If you think it'll help I'd be happy to donate my time for the cause. They're time consuming, so let me know when you would need them by to make sure I can get them done in time.

I haven't been able to kayak for months due to a torn rotator cuff, so I won't be able to fish the tourney. My father's been terminal with colon cancer for 13 years and cancer's hit home for me so I'd like to help if I can.

Charles, perhaps a Gift Certificate for them so the person can order them from you and get the correct size. Though for me it wouldn't matter on the size, I couldn't wear that art, they wouldhave to sit on a shelf on display!

That's a great idea Jim. That way they could also get whatever species, or design they want for that matter, and I don't have to worry about time constraints. Will you guys be at the MLPA meeting tomorrow? If so I could bring a gift certificate and give it to you there.

I am going to do my best to make the meeting, but time is a huge issue for me right now. I have large group fishing on Tuesday then leaving for two weeks in Montana on Wednesday, so tomorrow is my only day to get packed up.
Maybe Matt can hook up with you or you can mail something to him.

Wanted to bump this up to see if we can get some more stuff.

Also I just got an email from Steve at Izorline. He will be sending me down some stuff for the Tourney. Not 100% sure what as of yet but these guys usually are good. I recommended 20-40lb First String and 65/80 Specra so well see what happens.

When it comes in ill give you a call Moyer.
