started out with one live down low, and a rod with a iron set up early in the day.massive boils on the surface, wasnt fast enough..every time i'd arrive near one, they would bolt out and explode the surface eighty yards away, again and again..im beginning to think my forty # mono is too visible?then after mid day, i had one fly line and one in mid water column 30-40 in 75'. Got a bunch of calicos, but released em all in hopes of hamachi kama for dinner..ummmm nope!...should have kept 1 for tacos... damn-it!..
