where do the La Jolla folks get their tackle?

Hey all,
I'm not seeing a whole bunch of options for tackle in the La Jolla area. Where are the closest quality shops to buy tackle? I've been up to Blue Water Tackle in Solana Beach and it's great but I'm looking for something of that caliber a little closer to La Jolla. I live in Bird Rock and have headed down to Dana Landing Market which will do the trick but just wondering what the other options are. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Jon

The next closest places will be on Mission Bay. Squidco is a bit farther away but often has some very good prices.

SQUIDCO is the best in town. Period.

Yeah you have to drive ten miles or so before hand but just buy enough for a month or season. I've shopped there for years. Nowhere is better or cheaper. I'll put money on that.

Don't forget you can buy off the internet also, especially those hard to find items. I like bass pro, meltons, angler center(npb),cabelas,j&m tackle, charkbait, the list goes on....sometimes but very rarely west marine has some different stuff

OEX Kearney Mesa also has a small selection of tackle. we are planning on expanding the tackle section in the next month or so and will have a good selection of saltwater tackle. stay tuned!
