Check out the kayak benefit tournament forum, there is a cabon fiber Werner Coryvecken paddle up for bid. Sounds like the paddle your looking for.

I have the Werner Shuna paddle listed in the premium section on their website, it kicks ass with a full carbon shaft and glass blades that are very stiff and only 26 oz.
Its a high angle style, like the Werner CORRYVRECKEN. Both paddles move maximum water by design, with the CORRYVRECKEN moving the most. http://www.wernerpaddles.com/paddles/touring/premium/ |

I bought the Camano when I had a smaller yak (p13), although it works fine with the T-13, I feel I could use a little more water movement under the blades. Ive been looking around-researching and the Corryvekken seems like the perfect paddle/next purchase for me.

Redyak07,
F.W.I.W. I got the Corryvekken, in the full carbon model from Andy at OEX and it moves ALOT of water but you do feel it Great for pushing thru the surf or for burst of speed when needed not so good for long cruising paddeling (touring?) but I have gotten used to it unless you want to carry 2 paddles they are all a compromise... I am a small guy, so somedays I feel it in the shoulders after 9-10 hours but if you can... do like Dave said and buy the one from the benefit tourney p.s. a friend of mine recently busted his onno paddle where the blade attaches to the shaft...and he was just paddling hard |
