Off to Panama

We are headed to Panama tomorrow for a week of shooting for Game On 2. There are some BIG fish over there and we are super excited to see what we can do. Paul Lebowitz is joining us on this one and I am sure he will get some great shots for us when he is not pulling on his own fish.
We will try and post up on the GO2 blog while we are there so keep an eye on it.
Kayak Fishing Game On II Blog
If we can't post to the blog we will have a full report when we get home.
Hope the fishing is good here while I am gone.
Good luck

Have fun down there Jim, I caught plenty of peacock bass when I was down there. I didn't think the jungle was that bad knowing every once in a while I was going to get to fish....that was until that jackass "noriega" F'd it all up for us and we had to jump in and put a boot in his ass

Stole this picture of that zit faced mutha F'r pos'n as a paratrooper rigging for a hollywood jump....look at that sissy ass "camy jump suit" bhahhahahahaaha.. Grabbed this when we cleared and secured one of his several homes...I think we drove the spooks nuts by looting all of his things

Well I got back last night and to say epic would be an understatement. We caught so many fish it was incredible. Many firsts for me to include, Snook, Rainbow runner, Blue trevally, and a yellowfin tuna estimated to be 120 lbs. Throw in Roosters, more tuna, cubera snapper jack crevalle and so much more fishing in an incredible place. Even had a salt water croc of over 500 pounds take a leap off a bank about 10 feet off my bow, made me levitate out of my kayak.
Once I get my photos together I will post a more detailed report.
Need a couple of days rest now as we were on the water at least 12 hours a day.

That was an unreal trip! We barely scratched the surface, Panama is one fishy place. I'm just about finished sorting through about 1200 photos - good chance I'll get a quick report up by Monday afternoon. Highlights - Jim suffering sweet agony for more than 3 hours, then finally dropping the hammer on the biggest kayak tuna I've ever seen. A flying croc, all 6 or 7 feet of the beast. Big water, hidden reefs, sneaker sets smashing on the rocks - and pugnacious jacks lurking danger close. A porpoise patrol, an arm and lung burning chase after birds, finally close enough for one cast, better make it count - one crank of the popper and YFT on! Dancing snook, rooster retribution, spooky lightning strobes, elemental rain, bull sharks THIS big... and one sweet movie shoot.

NOTE TO GREGO - You put such a boot up Noriega's @ss, the country folded its army. Always good to see a grunt get ahead, why save all the spoils for the spooks and brass?
