''FROTHING''

Joe and I took the 14ft. Valco out and left the yaks at home. We new it would be more about the chase and and covering lots of water. It payed off . I got this on a mega bait 5" 6 1/2 oz.
This was a 60 sec. boil and it was over. My fish was 31 lbs.
This is my 3rd yellow tail Birth 16, 26, 31 lbs & one 30 lb. squid off la jolla for 2009 .
There out there but its all about being in the right place with in that 60 sec. ""FROTHERS"" YOUR NEXT..............

Here is my boat.I have had it for about 5 days and havent even finished cleaning it up.It was under a tree for 2 years and full of branches water and beer cans.Engine is a sears 5hp that has no trans at all.It fired up on the 2nd pull.If its running ,prop is turning (Direct drive)I come to find out they are touted as a collectors item because of there "legendary" reliability.Screw legendary reliability,I want a 4 stroke newer 7.5-9.9 with F-N-R that can run on all lakes too.Price was right,$15 bucks for a smaller hitch ball.

Also some pics of yesterday and my other rig.

My friend

Lucky Matt is my friend and shares catch , he gave me half that Yellowtail for my family . He also gave me the head and bones for my friend at work . He made the best soup with pineapple , celintro , and some weird asian spices and of course the Yellowtail head .

Thank you Darkhorse

Matt don't forget to thank Josh.
I work with Matt. Before work
I talked to Josh (otw report).
He said the yellowtail where
frothing. All day working with Matt
it was, their frothing! I opted out on
the boat ride the next morning so
I could kayak fish. Matt said they
where frothing when he threw into
them. Now, that is the new line.
(Their frothing)
Josh is such a good guide, he can
put people on fish over the phone.
