trying to put the carma on out side

so we ended up getting out there a little later than planed and launched at 4pm. my buddy todd and I went strait to the yo-yo grounds and drifted with the low rigs armed with fresh dead squid. also yo-yoed the whole time. saw some birds working and took of in a sprint at them. by the time we got there the birds were just chillen and the fish were down so we drifted the squid and yo-yoed our ass's off for nada. decided to head over to the NW corner of the canyon to look for a flatty. when we get to our spot we find alot of life. lots of bait and about 12 Dolphin put on a nice show of breezing all around us. some got as close as 10 feet. (very cool sight) after about 30 min of drifting Todd gets slamedon his Hali rig. He proceds to fight the fish only to have the spool on his sealine40 jam. then SNAP.
After that we decided to call it quits and headed home. hope you had more luck than we did.
