RIP Bill Brand

RIP Bill Brand the Mayor of Redondo Beach.
He was a friend to all the South Bay Watermen and women and he was a supporter of the White Sea Bass Grow out pens in King Harbor.
He attended a few WSB releases and over the last couple of years had garnered support from the city council to offer a new location and some city funds to support a new grow out facility in the harbor.
He was one of the main moving forces in Redondo to shut down the Over Development of the Waterfront area and scale down the project.
One of his last accomplishments was to shut down the natural gas power plant at the start of January. His goal was to create some more open space with the dismantling of the facility.
I hope there's a special place in Heaven for guys like him.
Thank You Bill for all your accomplishments in such a short time.
