The Wall under water video

I fixed an old Gopro 4 I had. So I decided to drop it over the side of the kayak with a small rope and see what I could see.
Not great video but interesting. Lots of fish down there.

Glad to see someone posting underwater videos. I always liked these. What ever happened to Greg Andrews--he was a master at this?

Thanks for taking the time to put this video together!

You would think there would be so many more fish around all those rock piles. The environment in general looks great, lots of purple algae and plant life, plenty of places to hide. I used to have a reef tank that I started out with local rock that had the purple algae. Everything I put in that tank thrived!

You may be able to use an anti green filter depending on your video editing program. Right now I’m using LumaFusion, it has many filters that help out a lot. Hopefully I’ll get around to post up some underwater footage when I was visiting my bro in Tampa. I was shocked at what the GoPro picked up.

Always wonder what the LB BW wall looks like UW

Interesting. Do you think that was a small WSB at the beginning of the video? The Garibaldis are conspicous. A nice school of Sargo. I was hoping to see more Calicos.

i absolutely love underwater footage and this was much better than my attempt (my camera kept spinning around like crazy). a few things to note about the wall from this vid

* there are a A LOT of big sheepies there, and i've been told they mainly only bite the spear shaft
* the garibaldi, wrasse, and perch population explains why i get so many short bites
* the botttom is so rocky and sharp that i'm surprised i dont lose my weight every single drop.
* i was expecting more urchins or starfish maybe they are only on certain sections of the wall.

overall, great vid. I am tempted to bust out some super secret opaleye and perch bait and have a fun CPR session. Not sure how well the bait work here though, but it absolutely kills at catalina.

I like underwater video. I would like to see what would be attracted by a mesh bag full of fish food.
