Beautiful conditions on the water, trolled a couple of Spanish macks for two big strikes. Didn't get to see the first, it hit then pulled like a train until it bit thru my 30lb mono. 2nd pick up was this leopard which was C&R est 30 -35 lb who knows, I wasn't into dealing with him even though he was pretty docile.

Catch and Release a Shark?

What is the best way to release a shark from a kayak? My first thought is to just cut the leader. Is there a better way?

Leopards are fairly easy and you can wear them down so that the hook removal isn't all that bad. A de-hooking tool is a great way to go though!
