HH 11-13

Feeling kind of bored Friday so I drove over to Sunset Beach and borrowed some guys kayak

The weather was perfect light to no wind and with the big tide swing the water was moving well. It was time to check the dock fishing in HH so I was throwing plastics and blades with Uni Butter at the pilings and docks. I launched at OEX Malibu in Sunset and worked the docks down the side channels to the main channel. It was a slow pick on the side channels and by the time I got to the main channel the water was moving fast with swirls around each piling where the channel narrows. Ended up with 6 legal spotties and a small halibut, in one area I hooked back to back spotties. The first inhaled the blade on the drop and almost pulled me into the moored boats.

The bait took a beating

The next cast was hammered and the fish was pulling drag then snap

That was on 12lband it was not the knot.
Returned the guys kayak and headed home just before dark GREAT FALL AFTERNOON

Thanks Andy.........................................
