New Year, New Kayak?

All,

Come the new year, it will be time for me to look for my next boat.

Does anyone remember if the Fred Hall show has deals good enough to wait for March? I'd hate to lose two more months of kayak fishing time, but if the deals are good enough, I'll maintain patience.

....and these deals must be through OEX, cause if you're not buying a new boat through OEX, we can't be friends anymore.

If you want to know whether OEX has any major sales why don’t you call them up?

I have the same game plan and was thinking the same thing last night.

Im leaning towards a Solo Skiff at the moment but am also thinking about adding 2 more paddle yaks to my Baja fleet.

What kinda yak are you looking for? I seen Andy has a MBK Stealth 12 for $700 on here if you were looking for paddle yak.

We skipped Fred Hall last year and have the same plan this year. It just does not add up to spend a lot of money to be there with decreasing results every single year. I will be doing demo weekends before and after the show and will have industry reps on hand to help make people make informed buying decisions.

I really want to get a new Outback. If I get a new boat, thats the route I'll take. If I get a used/consignment boat, then possibly another Wilderness Systems rig. Still not 100% sure but I REALLLLLLLY want to get into the pedal universe.

Ahh....thats right forgot about that. I'll let you know either way, Andy. You know I'm coming to you first no matter what....
