Cold weather gear

I started kayak fishing this summer. I love every minute I am out there whether there are fish or not. I'm not willing to leave the kayak in the rack until next summer so I need to adjust my attire for the snotty/cold weather that is sure to come. What are you guys doing to stay warm and waterproof during the colder months? I'm in SoCal and contrary to popular opinion it does rain and get cold (relatively) here .

Dry waders...

With a belt around the waste for safety.

When I used to hoop net for lobster at night.....

In my kayak, i would wear sweet pants under dry waders.
