Tourney Results...

Battle of the Bays Channel Islands Harbor was a really fun event…even Mother Nature came out to play with some favorable conditions for our 31 registered anglers.

Dale Shaw was the big winner with a bag of three bass at 50" and he took home a $500 gift card for Turners Outdoorsman. Ricardo Holden was 2nd $250 Okuma card, Jay Scarcella was 3rd $125 Promar/AHI card, and Thomas Grande was 4th $75 Hookup Baits card.
Dale Shaw won longest bass with a 19.25 Barred Sand Bass and got a One Cool Tuna cnc jig and is now in the lead for the Bixpy Jet motor kit to be awarded at our Dana Point event on July 14th.
Chad Gierlich received a check for $320 for the "big fish" a 26" Halibut caught on a ….Hookup Bait double rig!
Charles Hammond won the Blind Bogey with a 12.75 Barred Sand Bass and was the first entrant to submit a fish…he and Hitomi were fishing on a Hobie Tandem Island. Thanks for the video!
Thomas Grande stole the Roddy Reaper rod from Mr. Mity Might Dale Shaw by fishing with that little rod for most of his day…LOL…!
Jodie McGreggor won the custom wrapped Calstar rod donated by Tiffany Vague from Hook, Line, and Sinker for her endless submissions of beautiful green back Macks.
Lunch was supplied by Bill and Lana Lynch. The Pork Shoulder was cooked all day Saturday and Damn, those sandwiches were delicious…I believe every single person had seconds.
As usual the raffle was outrageous and most folks went home happy…especially Thomas Grande, who hauled in a whole bunch of donated items.
A Special thanks goes to Randy T. who purchased $120 in raffle tickets for Kevin Brannon's Reel Guppies. These young kids volunterred all day and help set up the lunch tables and chairs and then assisted all the kayakers as they pulled their boats out of the water.
It was almost like valet parking...LOL

A Happy Guppie...!

THAT WAS A REALLY CLASS MOVE RANDY…!!!! THANKS…!!!

Thank You to all our CCA CAL Channel Islands Chapter Volunteers for sacrificing their holiday weekend to assist with another successful tournament.
