Oceanside Yellowtail?

I just saw on the Helgren's website that their half day boats picked up a few yellowtail yesterday. I do not know if they were fishing along the coast or kelp paddy hopping. Does anyone else have any information on where these fish are being caught? I plan to launch my kayak early Sunday.

I have previously caught a yellowtail at Buccaneer Beach and hooked one near the Golf Balls. In both of these cases I launched in the harbor. This made for a couple of long paddles! Any info on closer launching spots?

Thanks,

Paul

I got some additional information from Ken's Custom Reel in Oceanside Harbor. Ken says the yellowtail are being caught off Encinitas. I will likely launch tomorrow at Moonlight Beach.
