Hey Marco - Lowrance X86ds on a ram mount. It's not bad, but when I have some extra $ I might trade up for some higher resolution.

PERSONAL BEST......

That was really fun. While you were netting the bait from my tank, and a trophy of my own had just went through all my spectra, as I watched my backing knot fly through the guides. My big Yellowtail came off the bottom and ran across the surface for a couple of hundred yards. I've never had a Yellowtail of that size do that before. Usually a quick surface run and then down to the bottom for the battle. I was pretty excited during my fight, thinking it could be a 100lb WSB. I don't think we could have done the bait transfer without you being on a Hobie (good job keeping up).

That fish is a trophy in anyones book, no matter how long they have been fishing.

Great fish, Rusty. On the beach I thought 40's for sure, but an outstanding catch, nonetheless.

No one got spooled

Just a clarification... When he first waved me over to grab some bait and I pulled up on the side, we were kind of sideways and the fish ran hard and took him down to his mono, which for (I think) the majority us would be down to our spectra. I let go, he packed some line back on, then I re-docked to grab some bait. It was kind of fun to tag along on someone else's sleigh ride, I must admit. It was even better to get some good bait and get fish #2 right before work.

It's all good.
