Dang, I've been wanting to camp up there for a while. If my best friend wasn't coming to town this weekend, I would probably have drove up.

We were there this past weekend, excellent fishing in the early am. Also if you are a fly guy they seem to be killing it on the black ant Flys.

The parachute black ant was my most productive fly last summer no matter which stream I was fishing; Gotta love terrestrials in summer.

Thanks for the tip on fly colors. Not sure about the crawdads on this trip since I'm going solo. I will report back on the action.

6th thru 10th

I have a reservation at campsite 24 in the Silver Lake Campground starting on the 6th thru the 10th...we'll probably stay longer if we can get another campsite.

I'll be taking a PA 14 and the Adventure Island for a little sailing if it gets windy.

The weather forecast looks really good so far...Crawdads look out...here we come again!
I'm hoping to find a bigger trout this trip.

Hey Geno....just posted a trip report. Had an awesome time. From the various reports, fishing has been pretty good all over the Eastern Sierra so I'm sure you are going to have a great time.

I have a small Scotty down rigger that I'll bring too.
Did you get any fish trolling Silver Lake?
