Bow Fishing???

Anyone on the forum a bow fisher?? I've done it down in Florida and the Midwest, looking to get into it here in the bays at night. Let me know if you have any tips, pointers, or old gear you aren't using.

Before you go telling me about CDFW rules and regs, I am aware of them and I have contacted and spoke with a game warden and SD Police and Lifeguards.

Cheers,
Bernie

Probably be a good way to get corbina in the summer when they're racing around in like 6" of water.

Corbina and corvina would be what I would like to go after. I'd like to shoot carp, and I have in the past, but I'm not really sure what to do with them after I shoot them, they good fertilizer or cat food

Me in my old Scupper Pro at the Big Bear Carp Roundup some years back. Got the PA14 with the specific intention of bowfishing off it, but haven't yet. Too much getting in the way as usual. I still have a 90% completed Oneida Eagle bowfishing rig to finish up as a second bow to the recurve.
All the carp shot is collected up and trucked to a Christmas tree farm for fertilizer. Main purpose is to control the carp in the lake.
Thinking I should put June on the calendar for next year and try to head back up again...
