Aftco has those shirts with a built in hood and mask, but I'm not sure that I have seen anything with built in gloves as well. Have you considered just wearing gloves? I wear the Buff Angler Pro gloves (fingerless) and they're great.

I think they only make something like that in baby sizes....they are called onesies....Oops, I was wrong. When I googled it tofigure out the spelling I found that they do come in adult sizes. And camo for the ocean environment.

Good one kirk,
I found one with +50spf, just missing the hand cover. Would be good if I found an all in one shirt, just less things to forget..

Since when are you one to minimize what you bring?? Haha
I use the same one and wear gloves with sleeves cause it provides an extra layer of protection from the sun... |

I use exofficio mens sol cool ultimate hoody.
High quality product and sun shirt. A lot of experienced hikers, camera men, working professionals use this brand and now I know why. Even ljs own jim sammons was promoting their stuff a few years ago. The thing zips right up and is not tight and constricting like my old patagonia sun scarf. Feels great too...has some kind of natural stuff embedded in the fabric to keep you cool...see the video. Was going to go aftco ninja but glad I didn't. This thing is not cheesy either like a lot of other sun shirts. There are deals on amazon and around the web. First time I put it on in the house I didn't want to take it off and that is with it zipped up. They have the hand shields as well. First video is the mens...second is for the wife....little different but the second video explains the minty cool fabric. I'll look around some more on the net, but ExOfficio's site only shows it goes up to 50" chest, I need a 52" at the moment (hopefully not forever... lol) and not sure if they make it in a larger size. Great design though!

In spite of my earlier funnin', there are some good suggestions here. I am light skinned aka freckled, and of an age that every time I go to the doc he burns things off of my skin.
I bought some of those mask things from SA but i guess my head is too big, because they seem awful tight and I can't keep it on for more than 10 minutes. The outfits on this thread look more comfortable as long as they breathe. |
