Bait bucket in the bay

Anyone have any measure of success using any type of out-of-kayak bait bucket in sd or mission bay? The dogs or birds give you any issues? Seems like it might be a way to deal with an entire kayak scoop of bait

I rarely use live bait in the bays, but the times that I've done it, I use the integrated live bait well in Malibu Stealth 12 or my X-Factor. But plastics seem to work equally as well and are much easier to use (in my opinion.

Plastics always produced a lot of spotty's for me. I was thinking about trying some live bait with my bait bucket next time I'm out on MB and see what it brings me.
