Finally made it back to the jewel!
It didn't disappoint, thresher bite must be
right on the MLPA line many guys fishing
there I didn't stop to see. Tons of bait, red
crabs, birds etc. prefect greenies kind of tough
for me to get them to bite. Got 2 20 something cudas on sabiki
Second one destroyed me. Made 4 and went looking
Saw a pber with a legit yt 30ish! Out n/w by now
and a pair of fur bags WOULD NOT leave me alone
Now out of bait started heading back in washing machine
Conditions! Back to condo area bout 11 or so
conditions started getting better and looking
Real fishy! Trolled a croc for 3 or 4 20" scoots.
Got out the surface plug and had a blast! Had 2
that might have been legal rest were the 20" variety
24" seabass in the middle of that!! Good times
Sand at launch is hard pack no worries! GETTEM

Good report, sounds like fun even without the "right" kind.
