Trouble with hobie vantage ct seat
Has anyone experienced this? I am sure I can get it addressed under warranty but I would rather just fix it myself if its doable. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance! Patrick |

Lots of problems
No, you are not the first. They need to throw the ct seat in trash and redesign the thing . Not sure if there is a cure . I wish I kept my 2014 as a thrasher . Oddly enough , the PA has none of these issues . Let's see who chimes in.

I JUST got my outback recently so cannot comment on the quality yet, but upon a cursory inspection when I bought it, it appeared as though the mechanism for retracting the seat was a simple bungee cord! I'm probably wrong, but if I get a chance later tonight, I will look at it for you. If that is the case, you may get away with re-tying it or something more DIY. Standby. |

Never has any problems with it not moving. I did however have a problem with the default ride height. Fixed that by flipping the spring. Default is now high and pulling cable drops it.
