New Rig

Pulled the trigger on my new Revo 13 today. Can't wait to take a shakedown cruise in Mission Bay on Tuesday. Andy at OEX Sunset Beach is awesome to deal with. He will offer plenty of sound advice and treat you right.

Revolution 13 is longer and narrower. Going to be faster, but at the cost of reduced stability.

Revo 13 is basically leaner, faster, lighter... and not for 'bigger' guys like me... lol

It looks good. If it wasn't for hooping, I would still be in a Revolution. I used to kick Jorluivil's ass when I was in my Revolution and he was in his Outback.

Nice ride.

Make or buy J-racks. strap to studs on your wall and hang that kayak on it's side, about 2 ft off the ground, when not in use. Great space saver and will keep that clean organized garage of yours, clean and organized.

Nice choice of boat there. You're going to love that thing and probably will not need an upgrade for many many years. Let us know how you like it OTW.

Congrats on the Revo13. I too have owned everything from a Sport to a PA14. (Excluding the PA12) I love my Revo13 & my Revo11. I have NO problem with it being stable. I fish up to 15 miles offshore in my Revo13. Fast...stable love it. I also Lobster Hoop with 5 hoops with no problems. Only Upgrade in my future is a 2015 or newer with that new seat.
