Redondo Kayak Launch

The City of Redondo is working on the kayak launch docks in King Harbor.
They have attached all new top decking...

And they are replacing a few of the damaged floats...

But...it's being done at the typical warp speed of a city maintainance worker so it probably won't be done till the end of March...but I'll stop by and talk to the workers and try to get an update on the finish date. That AI and PA are a pain to launch at the hoist with that narrow walkway.

You know the drill...gotta stretch it out as much as you can! Why get paid to do something you can get done in a week, if you can guarantee yourself a pay check for the next 6 months!

That's how the government works. Set the deadline, set the work load, and anything more is consider overtime and extra charge. Thanks for the update Saba!

I was told about a month ago that the dock would be finished in a couple weeks, but that they would still not install it until March due to the winter storm surge.

I was wondering if this was completed? I haven't been out in a few months so I was curious for the March 1 opener. The ramp near the boat hoist is a pain!!!
