What goodies sit in the LJ canyon?

So I've seen the topographic map and metered some Interesting spots around the canyon a mile west of the pier. Is it common to bottom fish these shelves? Any rigging advice?Generally curious what people pull up here.

Thanks!

I don't have enough line on my reel to bottom fish that canyon!

I've seen pic's of rockfish and halibut caught off LJ, just don't know where. Unfortunately , I've only been able to catch yellowtail at LJ.
