That is a good point about using a jig on sabiki's, you never know what is following that bait ball around! I have started using my old jigs once the hooks get all rusty... I just switch out the hook with a siwash. It get's tangled less in the kelp than a treble, but I rarely look for bait in the kelp... I especially like the megabaits, they knife down to the bait quickly.

My best irons have no paint and crappy hooks but they swim the best and that is why theres no paint. Fish love them and I wouldnt dare throw them out.
