Good fishing pier?

Hey guys I've been neglecting my little bro that is on vacation and doesn't enjoy kayak fishing too much. So I'm planning a pier fishing day.
We usually go to Venice pier but from the two years we've been fishing there we haven't seen them catch much but a few Rays, few leopard sharks and one halibut, so I'm looking to relocate on this one.
Is there any fishy pier that you guys who reccomend? Good cheap parking is a plus.
Thanks!

A dart is a metal flutter jig/spoon. Ball and feather is a ball connected to a 5ft leadr with a feather on the end. Green feather s are good now. Reel it fast across the top and bam! If you go the bait store on the pier has everything you need.
