Just got back from a trip late last night and too lazy to even make a noon launch today! I'm going to hit DP tomorrow instead. Looks nice and overcast out so the wind should stay down mostly. Good luck and post a report later.

Caught the usual limit of calico. Nothing too big but fun nonetheless. I also hooked up on something BIG on the 3way swivel with a mac but broke off. I know my knott wasn't faulty so I'm assuming my 25lb fluro leader was busted off by a shark of some sort. There was a nice kink up my line too. Overall, a great PM sesh.

Yea might have been a sea lion, especially if you were in the harbor. Outside I don't usually see too many of them, and when I do I pull up my bait and they don't stick around. I always hear them coming before it's too late. It's those damn scuba diving birds that get me more than the sea lions, but I've yet to have one of them break me off. I wasn't able to make it out yesterday, shooting for Saturday.

It was DEFINITELY not a seal lion. It had nasty head shakes. lol I've hooked up on those before. I was fishing the Headland area when i hooked up. I don't waste my time in the harbor when there's some real fish a few minutes out.
