"Pen" rod and reel

Went to La Jolla over the weekend with nothing to show but bait. all caught with the little "pen" rod and reel. The most I had on at one time was three macs. It was actually the easiest sabiki rig I have ever used. Once they were hooked it was so slow reeling in they never felt like they were hooked or fought back! I'm sure the quality of the reel will only last for a few trips out.

I might take it into the bay for some spotty's. I figured it would never work but I was surprised.
