Beach Combing

Tried to get out this morning but high surf and tides made it a mess at San Roque. Even the abalone divers were saying no bueno. Took one of the spur roads off the San Roque road towards the beach and did some beach combing. I'm trying to find a shark tooth. There is all manner of flotsam and jetsam on the beach as a result of the big South swell that we have been experiencing for the last few days. No teeth but found part of a whale rib.

Nice find. Seems like you'd love reading "Flotsametrics".
