Just to stop by and see your old man and give him some goodies and mierda! Rest of this trip we can do Abreojos or get him to join us there. Jim the older I get the moore I want to do, and the less time I have to do it. When the legs finally give out I will still have a few memories of better days to relive as I sit on the porch at Encantadas watching the sunset and wait for that beautiful full moon.
Tight lines all.

More than likely I will already be down in abreojos. We will definitely have to meet up for a good estero fishing session.

There are less toothy species in abreojos vs gonzaga. You are able to get away with more plastics. Don't get be wrong, you will still lose some. But not as many. #1 estero and inshore bait down there for me is a white scampi.

Megabaits, and hard jigs will work as well, however 3/4-1oz lead head with that white scampi, you will do great. Luckycrafts frequent a halibut in the surf zone. But they are $$$. Flash minnow 110 in a silver. |
