So I bought a six pack of Sculpin bottled in January to check it out. It's very fruity and not strong at all, a bit sweet and not much bitterness that you'd expect from an IPA. It should pair well with fish for sure, but it's not something I look forward to drinking after work. It's not worth the premium $16.00 IMO but still, definitely a smooth and tasty summertime beer. I'm going to check out the BP variety case from Costco mentioned earlier.

But usually more of a stout and porter guy. Though I'm starting to find some IPAs I like lately. |

Although I love IPAs, and I just bought a quad IPA from Costco the other day for $5, my favorite type of beers are imperial reds. For those ballast point fans here if you like sculpin, try a tongue buckler by BP sometime. Really good beer.

Firestone haters avert your eyes.
Disclaimer.... I only sell out once a year in March for this liquid gold.
Mighta overdone it this year though. At least I will have some left to age this year. |

I scored a couple sixes of Grapefruit Sculpin at Bevmo. Spendy, but worth it.
