Red filters are for very clear water only. There are magenta filters for our greener waters, but they also darken the video some. They are fine for bright days with good visibility to about 80 feet or so. But after that, they are going to make your video too dark to see much of the time. So I just learned to live with green video. I might do some more experimenting with them though, cause they do bring back the colors pretty good.

I dive with amber/yellow lenses and it really brightens up green water.

Thanks for taking the time and effort to post your videos. As others have posted before..."excellent job"! I always look forward to your posts. They help cheer me up some from not being able to fish yet. It gives me something to hopefully look forward to when I do make it out.
Just out of curiosity...I noticed your using lighter tackle than most, what # are you using? Are you fishing farther away from the kelp or just "rolling the dice"?

Great job Greg, love the video! Sure did way better than us that day. We just started way late and spent way too much time making bait. I hope to have that kind of success the next time down there.

Congrats!
