Mikeys' First...
On the beach, I ran into a Hand Surgeon named Brian. We met a few years back, and kept each other company. While Mikey brought home the bacon... |

Congratulation on a really nice fish Mikey, just spent 8+ hours there yesterday but did not have the same luck. Great video Yani and Mikey you even had a professional photographer take your on the water photo (Chris) even though it was with an IPhone.

Nice video Yani, the last frame is Fantastic. I had a blast. I learned more that trip probably more than any other.
Mikey, very cool listening to your dialogue about the FF and saying the fish just left, and as the words where leaving your mouth, bam you got slammed right in front of me, very fun to see. Very nice fish. Nice meeting you Brain and thanks for the great info. I caught my very first ling cod, which of of course is out of season. Beautiful fish that went back down to the depths very easily when released. It was probably small anyway, and I did not measure it as I didn't want to know. Now I know where about to target in March. First on the Iron
Thanks for posting the awesome video Yani and the epic photo Chris.
Not my first yellowtail but my first yellowtail on the iron. I'll never forget the feeling of reeling up as fast as I could and then all the sudden the reel stops and line starts ripping the other direction. Just as Yani said in the video the fish was devoured by friends, family and coworkers multiple sushi parties over the weekend. My favorite is to do a buffet style of hand rolls and I'm working on my nigiri skills. It's hard to beat fresh yellowtail sushi. |

Nice job Mikey! I saw you in the sewer a few months back I think, but I think you were on a red kayak if I'm not mistaken. I was with Joe and his friend.
Way to get him on the iron! Love that song, brings back memories!! Whoop, there it is------》
