Going to try hoopin

Hi All
I picked up some hoops at Turners and thought I would give it a shot.
I'm going to need a bunch of mac's for bait and I wanted to know if it
would be better to catch mac's from a pier or do I need to go to LJ.
Also does anyone know if there is a limit on mac's?

Thanks for the help,

Rich

No limit on macks but if you use bonito chunks technically each chunk can be regarded as a less than 24" bonito (limit 5).

could also try the asian fish markets. They usually have salmon heads. I have had good luck using them if you can't get out to catch macs.
