Greenies are back

Well, on Sunday 8/17 the greenies were back in force for La Jolla. Bait fish of all kinds boiling everywhere to the point where it sounded like a small crashing wave - pretty cool to see and hear. I saw what looked like anchovy and caught thick 8" smelt, too.

Out of all the macs I only got one Spanish mackerel.

Dogs were actually not in force and I guess because they were probably all full from the bait fish in the water.

Unfortunately, I trolled and threw the iron for nada. I didn't hear of any other YT hooked or landed. Was on the water from 5:30 to 12:30.

Anyone catch anything Sunday (I really don't want to know - it will just make me jealous)?
