I thought it was WFO?

Tried to capitalize on the "easy pickens" with the SUP this morning at LJ Denied! picked up and dropped on the spanish and a couple bonito on the iron. Fun but not quite as relaxing as the kayak

I don't remember having seen a report from you a Kayak (or did I just miss it?). When was your last time out on the yak?
Well I guess it beats working!

What's a SUP fishing setup like that cost you Iceman? Just curious. Great camera angle.

I don't ever see anyone on paddleboards wearing a PFD when they are out of the surf zone, you're setting a good example.

I paddled out without it, but once I put on the pfd it did not interfere with paddling. I feel weird without it on way out there. Glad Tom's hammerhead did not roll by. This board package is under $1000 and the cooler rod holders and straps were about $50.

I do sell my used rentals........Black Friday. Annual event.

I debated between a SUP and a kayak 2 years ago. A SUP looks simpler but I'm glad I ended up going with a kayak for fishing. That does look like a good option though and a decent price as well.

I know what you're saying about feeling wierd without the PFD on, it's like a Thundershirt for dogs USCG considers a paddleboard a vessel now, so they are required to carry a PFD outside of surf/swimming zones but I never see them in compliance around Dana Pt.

Nice Bird's Eye view! I caught 2 - one big and one small. Had 4 on. Lost 2. All on Spanish Macs. Caught the big one about 1/2 way to the NW corner. Small one at the NW corner - released. Broke a big one off in the kelp and pulled a big dead greenie out of the mouth of another.

The only area that is enforcing the pfd regulation on SUP in SoCal is Long Beach life guards. Most local law enforcement had a problem with the USCG not following the proper channels when pushing this regulation through and have refused to enforce it.

I think that helicopter got a pic of me too.

There's was a few people hookin' up at the corner, but none for me.

Don't forget those sunglasses.
