Revo 13 How do you stow the mirage drive inside ? - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I am not very confident landing in the surf with the mirage drive. I just changed to turbo fins and could not find a way to make it through such a small front hatch. Anybody knows any trick?

I push the pedals up all the way against the hull and use the bunjie to hold it in place.
