Wide open bones

Wide open bone fish this morning. Peddled a hundred yards this morning and caught all the bone fish I wanted. San Quintin Bay is absolutely flat, noon now and not a breath of air. A few small bass, two halibut, one keeper and lot's of bones. Life is good!!! Tight lines.

June has produced WSB in the bay. 75, 60, 48, 40 and some in the 30 pound range. Halibut to 40 lbs. These are fish being talked about down here. Weather has been great the last week, Yellows opening up outside, along with lings, reds, some nice sculpin too.

T-Rex, I totally such with pictures, camera never works or loses pictures, and I have to get my daughter to post them, I need to learn.

SWIM_DOG let's do it.

castro's fish camp (Erendia BC) had good weather with little wind and sun peaking out in the afternoon.
found live squid off of colonet and concentrated the first day on WSB or YT but done to be found. gill nets were picking up WSB and reports of breezing fish so there around just not ready to bite.
rockfish plentiful and we picked some some beauty's

thanks for the reports Bob and enjoy your stay

Jeff, they will eat bait, shrimp mostly, but I got mine all mine on a fly dropper fished slowly above a lead head. Lots of small crabs under the shore rocks make good bait too. Bring your shrimp pump to get your own ghost/mud shrimp.

Best one so far was 16" but lots of fun on 6lb. Hello Mermaid, how you doing girl? Had a wonderful birthday party last night, had my first oysters, 14 of us ate 20 dozen of them. Wow are they tasty, some on the half shell and then in garlic and butter and others in a slasa with cheese sauce. The oysters are farmed locally, prices are up as we paid $0.00 USD for the 20 dozen. The cook here also baed up 4 whole rock cod. What a feast. Greman chocolate with hazelnuts for desert. BTW we got two halibut yesterday, 8 and 20 lbs. See you guys soon. Tight lines.
